Join the Mid Willamette Outreach Group's Great Raindrop Scavenger Hunt to learn about water, ways you can reduce your water footprint and explore local parks! When:March 1-31, 2024
What: The Great Raindrop Scavenger hunt is a self-guided scavenger hunt that will get you exploring local parks. Search for these raindrops featuring QR codes with fun water-facts! At the end of the scavenger hunt, you will find a prize! We will be celebrating World Water Day (March 22nd), with the theme "Peaceful cooperation around clean water." By drawing attention to our water resources, we hope to spark inspiration for you to get involved locally to improve water quality. How to participate:
1. Visit any or all participating locations between March 1-31 during park hours.
2. Find the starting blue raindrop at each location:
a. Keizer Rapids: Start at Kiosk near the Dog park. View the map here. b. Bush Park: Start at Kiosk 3 near the Mission Street parking lot (stadium parking lot). View the map here. c. Ankeny Hill Nature Center: Start at the covered area at the main entrance
3. Scan the QR code on the raindrop to guide you to the next raindrops. Once you find the final raindrop, there will be a prize! Please be considerate and only take one.
4. Share photos on social media to encourage others to participate! Tag the City of Keizer on Facebook (@cityofkeizerOR or Instagram (@cityofkeizer_or) or #thegreatraindropscavengerhunt
