Ribbon Cutting for the Artificial Turf Fields - Keizer Rapids Park

The community joined together to celebrate the opening of the Keizer Community Fields at Keizer Rapids Park on October 1, 2024.  The attendance was fantastic with lots of high energy to start playing on the fields!

The $4 million project was first envisioned in 2022.  This endeavor represents a collaboration between the City of Keizer and Marion County with a $2 million contribution from Marion County through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) and $2 million match from the City of Keizer.  Designed as a versatile sporting haven, the multi-use artificial turf fields will serve a multitude of athletic sports including football, soccer, LaCrosse and Rugby.

For use of the fields, contact the Keizer Community Fields Association here: https://www.keizerfields.org/.
