Keizer Police Department Joins Annual Shop With a Cop Event, Bringing Holiday Cheer

The Keizer Police Department, alongside numerous law enforcement agencies, participated in the much-anticipated Shop With a Cop, hosted by the nonprofit Believe in Your Community, on December 14th providing 650 children with the opportunity to shop for holiday gifts. The event, which took place at the Keizer Station Target store, was a heartwarming success.

"We are overwhelmed by the tremendous turnout and support from our community partners," said Police Chief Andrew Copeland. "The dedication of all the agencies involved made this event truly special, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to connect with these kids and their families in such a positive way."

Each child was provided with $60 to shop for holiday presents.  Keizer Police assisted children with their shopping, helping them select meaningful gifts and creating a lasting impact in the lives of the participants.

This event underscores the importance of community collaboration and the positive relationships between law enforcement and residents. It also reflects the ongoing commitment of public safety agencies to give back and support children and families in need during the holiday season.

Keizer Police Department extends its sincere thanks to all of the participating agencies, volunteers, and partners who made the event possible, as well as to the Keizer Station Target store for hosting the event.
